Installation

• Load correct scanner drivers
• Test scanner with Scan Validation Tool
• Troubleshoot any problems with vendor
• Ensure scanner is capturing documents as required
• Help coordinate the removal/redeployment of existing scanner hardware

Integration

• Assist with integrating scanner to customer’s defined image capture application
• Ensure captured images can be delivered to customer’s image repository
• Set up scanner profile(s) to support imaging application (i.e., simplex/duplex, imprinting,
color/b&w, etc.)
• Advanced setup to automatically collect data from bar codes or OCR

Training

• Demonstrate use of scanner to operators
• Show customers how to clean the scanner
• Identify supply items necessary to maintain the scanner
• Determine the periodic maintenance required for optimal scanner operation
• Demonstration troubleshooting procedures (i.e., clearing a jam, scanner fails calibration, etc.)
• Procedures to contacting service

Support

Post- Sale Support:
• Assist with all incentive rebates and trade-ins offered by scanners manufacturer
• Staff of factory trained service technicians

Pre-Sale Support:
• Demo units available to ensure properly configured scanner for your application

Every scanner sale includes the IMS Scanner Implementation Program and our Scanner Installation, Integration and Training Services. We feel no scanner sale is complete until the installation is accomplished, the system is functioning and proper training has been provided to ensure long term satisfaction.
