A unique system designed to make images on microfilm and fiche truly accessible to anyone. Developed for Canon's popular line of microform scanners, even the most demanding public access applications no longer have to be a daily challenge. The image.SCAN system guides even first time users through the process of capturing high quality digital images from microforms, without the involvement of staff. The specially designed easy-to-use interface can be accessed in English, Spanish, or French! Users are presented with a very simple, touch-screen enabled interface that utilizes tutorial videos to guide them through everything from loading film or fiche to capturing their images electronically.

• On screen toolbox provides familiar PC image correction at the touch of a button; i.e.: Despeckle, Deskew and Invert (negative/positive image).
• Scanned images can be "foldered" based on a user name or ID number, and can then be printed directly, saved to disk, or saved for printing by a central station.
• Configure the system to assign rights and choose scanner accessories for each workstation.
• image.SCAN's Central Administration Station can also e-mail or fax (via a workstation or network fax device, if so equipped). A cover sheet can be generated with each print job indicating the number of prints and for whom they were made.

• Canon MS-300/350, MS400/500 or the MS- 800 Microfilm Scanner
• Local or network printer
